Job in Wicklow by Paul Hobbs ID: 6810035
I am getting my kitchen replaced in September and I need a plumber to carry out some of the preparation work before the final fit. I am not planning to change the location of the sink / taps although I am planning to install a Qooker tap. There will be a dish washer, washing machine and tumbledryer in the kitchen all located beside the sink.
One final ask is to explore the possibility of moving an expansion tank out of the kitchen which is currently sitting in a corner cupboard (we are unsure if it is used or not). Photo included, unsure if this is from older oil boiler that was removd or a new one which is now located in the back garden.
Update:
The kitchen install will be a “dry deploy” meaning that I will need the plumber to do any relevant preparation (not expected to be much as taps and outpipes not moving).
Kitchen folks will install the kitchen but not connect up to pipes.
Need plumber to return and do final connection over devices (Qooker tap, Washing machine, Dishwasher).
The other element is the potential removal of the expansion tank in corner unit, the reality is that we don’t know what the options are for this tank, we need to establish is it needed, can it be moved or does it just need to stay. Is assume that this will need a site visit before it can be fully understood. Looking for guidance from the experts.
