Hi, I am looking for a quote for a custom built-in joinery project involving two adjacent alcoves located just outside a kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling height is exactly 242.5cm. I am aiming for a seamless, minimalist, modern look across both spaces using flat-panel, MR-MDF. I would like the units supplied and fitted in a primed-only finish, as I intend to paint the final exterior and interiors myself. Layout & Specifications: 1. Alcove 1 (Utility Front) – 124cm Wide x 242.5cm High: – Located immediately to the left as you exit the kitchen. The left edge must scribe neatly up to the kitchen door architrave. – This alcove houses a Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump and other electrics, leaving only 14cm of front clearance. – Because standard hinges will not clear the equipment, the front needs to be built as a single, rigid, completely removable/magnetic lift-off facade. – The facade should be styled with a center router line to visually look like 2 modern flat doors (approx. 62cm visual width each). – It must include an integrated, hidden shadow-gap vent at the top to ensure proper equipment airflow. [Note: There is a 13cm solid wall break between the two alcoves] 2. Alcove 2 (Main Wardrobe) – 179cm Wide x 242.5cm High x 82cm Deep: – Fully line the internal 82cm deep cavity with smooth MDF. – Front configuration: 3 separate, full-height flat doors (approx. 60cm wide each to visually balance with Alcove 1) using heavy-duty push-to-open magnetic latches. – Internal Fit-Out (Split into 3 equal vertical bays of ~60cm): * Bays 1 & 2 (Left & Center – 120cm total width): Double-depth coat storage. Install a heavy-duty clothes rail set toward the front of the 82cm depth. On the back wall behind the rail, install a row of heavy-duty hanging hooks for secondary/seasonal coats. * Bay 3 (Right – 60cm width): Smart shoe and utility storage. In the bottom half, please include 4x heavy-duty, full-depth pull-out runner trays/drawers (designed to hold two rows of shoes per drawer deep). In the top half, include adjustable flat shelving for bags/accessories using pre-drilled pin holes.
