Hello,

I require a fixed‑price supply & fit carpentry quote to reinforce an inward‑opening hollow‑core wooden study door at a shared‑house. I need you to supply all parts and fit them (no customer products, no electrical/wiring). I am willing to pay a reasonable extra for the earliest available slot.

Scope (supply & fit):
– Reinforced strike plate(s) morticed and fitted; exterior unchanged.
– Long jamb anchoring screws (75–100 mm/3–4″) into studs — state screw count, material, head type.
– Internal latch/door‑edge reinforcement plate (morticed, concealed).
– Replace hinge screws (top & bottom min.) with 75–100 mm screws; supply hinge reinforcement plates if needed.
– Supply & fit ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 deadbolt (mortice, cut door/jamb) – subject to cost and visibility
– Concealed steel backing plates behind lock and strike locations.
– Shim/pack jambs to transfer load to studs; repair or sister jamb/studs if required.
– Internal door armor assemblies
– Threshold/strike adjustments for full bolt engagement.
– Minor interior paint/touch‑up; removal & disposal of old door/hardware.

– Fixed prices for each supply & fit item (parts, labour) and total including 23% VAT.
– Earliest availability and estimated on‑site time (hours).
– NB : Priority surcharge for the earliest slot
– Screw counts/specs, and model/descriptions of supplied deadbolt, plates and reinforcements.
– Parts & labour warranty (years and exclusions).
– Confirmation all parts will be supplied and fitted by you, and that exterior appearance will remain unchanged where requested.
